Job Description

Job Summary: Plan, coordinate and direct technical resources to support operations and maintenance with new and existing equipment for quality and production efficiency improvements.

Essential Duties:
Responsible for leading and supervising a team of engineers as they develop, test, modify and create solutions to technical problems.   
· Manage the Engineering staff to ensure effective and timely installation, troubleshooting and continuous improvement of all manufacturing processes
· Plan and direct the maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment.
· Effective budgeting, planning and cost containment for projects and programs.
· Coordinate projects and resources with other functional staff members.
· Determine staffing, training and equipment needs for Technical staff members.
· Develop and coordinate program for Environmental regulatory compliance for air, water and solid waste.
· Perform related duties as required.

Requirements:
· Bachelors Engineering or technical discipline or equivalent experience.
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in a leadership role in a technical manufacturing environment.
· General knowledge:  PLC programming, hydraulics, fabrication
· Working knowledge of electrical codes, fire and safety compliance.
· CAD or Solidworks
· Working knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.
· Skilled in analytical problem solving:  TQM, 8D, 5P
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Strong mathematical and analytical skills
